Geography
Selci is located 61 km northeast of Rome and 43 km southwest of Rieti. It is in the Low Sabina, the hills above the valley of the Tiber. The municipal area extends 112-286 m slm
The municipality belongs to the district Sant'Eleuterio.
The municipality is located in the seismic zone 2 (medium endangered).
The neighboring municipalities are Cantalupo in Sabina, FORANO, Tarano, Torri in Sabina.
Traffic
Selci is located on the strada Statale 657 Sabina (SS 657 ), which runs from Gala Tina (SS 313) to the Tiber bridge Ponte Felice on the Via Flaminia. The nearest motorway exit is Ponzano - Soratte on the A1 Autostrada del Sole.
The nearest train station is in FORANO - Gavignano at the regional railway line FR1, 7 km from the center.
