Nespolo
Nespolo is a municipality with 259 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012) in the province of Rieti in the Italian region of Lazio.

Geography
Nespolo is located 76 km northeast of Rome and 51 km southeast of Rieti. It is situated above the Lago di Turano and the valley of the Turano in the Sabine mountains.
The municipality covers an altitude difference of 730-1131 meters above sea level. Nespolo is a member of the Comunità Montana del Turano.
The municipality is located in the seismic zone 2 (medium endangered).
The neighboring municipalities are Carsoli (AQ ) and Collalto Sabino.
Traffic
Nespolo located 12 km away from the motorway exit Carsoli on the A24 Autostrada dei Parchi.
The nearest train station is also located in Carsoli on the railway line Rome - Avezzano, 10 km away.
