Thor Hushovd

Thor Hushovd ( born January 18, 1978 in Grimstad ) is a Norwegian cyclist.
Cycling career
The unusually heavy for a cyclist Norwegians (1.83 m, 81 kg) was a professional cyclist in 1999, after he had previously been world champion in the time trial U23 one year. In the 2001 Tour de France Hushovd won with his team Crédit Agricole ( inter alia with Jens Voigt ) surprisingly the team time trial.
