Tiefenbach bei Kaindorf

Tiefenbach with 699 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) is a municipality in Styria in Austria. It is located about 12 km southwest of the district capital Hartberg. From 1 January 2015 it has joined forces framework of the Styrian municipality structural reform with the communities Großhart and Hartl, the new community will be known as "Big Hard ".

Geography

Community structure

The municipality comprises the two villages (in brackets population as of 31 October 2011):

  • Obertiefenbach (446 )
  • Untertiefenbach (242 )

The municipality comprises the cadastral Obertiefenbach and Untertiefenbach. It has about 700 inhabitants, an area of 8.43 km ² and lies at an altitude of 371 m.

Incorporations

1959 was formed by the merger of independent since 1848 or 1850 communities Obertiefenbach and Untertiefenbach the church today.

Coat of arms

Blazon (Coat of Arms description): " split from Red, Silver and Black; confused in colors, the front gap is covered by a vine with three blades and two inner and outer of the gap is covered by a rear Clematis with three blades and two inside out. "

The award of the municipality coat of arms came into effect on 1 April 1990.

Regional Policy

The municipality is part of the LEADER region Oststeirisches heartland, and since 2007 has been part of the ecoregion Kaindorf.

On 20 November 2011, the voters of the municipalities Dienersdorf, Ebersdorf, Großhart, Hartl, Hofkirchen voted in Hartberg, Kaindorf and Tiefenbach bei Kaindorf as to whether, these seven churches are to be merged at the community structure reform from 2010 to 2015 to a large community. With a turnout of 65.66 % total of 3351 valid votes were counted. Of these, only 436 voters spoke (13% ) for a merger of the municipalities, while 2915 voters (87% ) voted against a merger. This clearly rejected the plans of the Styrian Provincial Government was granted.
