Tremsbüttel

Tremsbuttel ( Low German Tremsbüddel ) is in Stormarn in Schleswig -Holstein. The municipality consists of the villages Rehbrook, Satte field, Tremsbuttel and bailey.

Geography

Tremsbuttel located in the northern outskirts of Hamburg. The waters Groot Beek, Lütt Beek and Southshore best flow through the community. Neighboring municipalities are (clockwise) Rümpel, Lasbek, Hammoor, Bargteheide, Elmenhorst.

History

1302, the village was first mentioned as Tremetesbotle. The name derives probably from the then owner of the castle and the estate of John de Tremetesbotle from whose Wasserburg and Stammhof now regarded as a cultural monument in their remains. Also possible is a connection with the constable - towns.

Rich field

Rich field emerged as the district of Tremsbuttel and bailey after the resignation of Tremsbütteler Barbican in 1767 on the only 42 -ton plot No. 15 by settlement of artisan families the plot in 1847 was already fragmented into nine leasehold sites. After the construction of the railway line Hamburg -Lübeck in 1865 and the nearby stop copper mill in 1893 developed in Satte tourism field. Tremsbuttel

Tremsbuttel was the administrative seat of the Bailiwick, and later of gottorfischen Office Tremsbuttel until 1802. Of the 13 seats in the municipal council has the voter community KWG since the local elections in 2013 eight seats, the CDU and the SPD three two seats.

Traffic

Tremsbuttel is located on the main highway 21 (exit: Tremsbuttel ). In the southern part of the municipality of county road K12 K61 runs the county road, in the north.

The Copper Mill Station is located in the district of Satte field ( in the settlement area Butz ). The route will be extended to Bad Oldesloe the Hamburg S4. There are considerations to relocate the station near the main town. Both for the maintenance and the installation there is a citizens' initiative.
