Väinö Huhtala

Väinö Veikko Huhtala ( born December 24, 1935 in Revonlahti at Siikajoki ) is a former Finnish cross country skier who competed in the late 1950s and into the 1960s.

His most significant success is winning the gold medal with the Finnish 4x10 km relay at the Winter Olympics in 1960. In each case he won a relay silver medal at the 1962 World Cup and the Winter Olympics in 1964. Huhtalas best result at an Olympic individual race is the fourth place in the 15 - kilometer run in 1964.
