Vallabrègues
Vallabrègues is a commune with 1352 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Gard in the Languedoc- Roussillon region.
Geography
Vallabrègues is the only municipality of the Languedoc- Roussillon region on the left ( east) side of the Rhone. The municipal area, however, the west land shall include land in the plain of the Rhone. The place is about twenty kilometers away from both Avignon and the county capital of Nîmes.
Transport links
Through the village leads the D 183A, on the one hand, on the other hand, connects it to a more northern Rhône- bridge to the south Tarascon, near which also is a bridge over the river. More roads lead over Boulbon to the eastern hinterland. A direct railway connection does not exist.
The place has a small marina and a Anlegemole for cargo ships.
