Vallemaggia (district)

The district Valle Maggia (Italian Distretto di Valle Maggia, former bailiwick Maiental ) is a subunit of the canton of Ticino in Switzerland and includes the Valle Maggia (German Maggiatal or Maiental ) and its side valleys. Capital is Cevio. It consists of three circles ( Circoli ).
