Villa Carcina
Villa Carcina is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 10,934 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2012) in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy. The municipality is situated approximately 11 kilometers north-northwest of Brescia in Val Trompia from which the Mella springs. The shortest distance to Lake Iseo is in a northwesterly direction a little more than 9 kilometers. The surrounding mountains have a height of about 1,000 meters.
History
The community was founded in 1928 as a merger of today's districts.
