66th Golden Globe Awards
The Golden Globe Awards 2009 by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association ( HFPA ), a group of International Film Journalists awarded on 11 January 2009 for the 66th time. The awards in the fields of film ( 14 categories ) and television ( 11 categories) were conducted as part of a gala dinner at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills held and transferred from the U.S. television channel NBC.
The nominations were also announced at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on December 11, 2008. Nominations
The nominations in the 25 categories were announced on 11 December 2008 by the President of the HFPA, Jorge Camara, along with the actors Elizabeth Banks, Terrence Howard and Rainn Wilson.

Foreign language films must have been first performed in 2008 in the country of origin between 1 November 2007 and 31 December.
