Arthur A. Neu

Arthur A. Just ( born February 9, 1933 Carroll, Carroll County, Iowa) is an American politician. Between 1973 and 1979 he was Deputy Governor of the State of Iowa.

Career

After studying law at Northwestern University in Illinois, and his admission as lawyer Arthur New began in his hometown of Carroll to work in this profession. At the same time he proposed as a member of the Republican Party launched a political career. From 1967 to 1973 he was a member of the Senate of Iowa.

1972 New was elected to the side of Robert D. Ray for Lieutenant Governor of Iowa. This post he held 1973-1979. Yet he was Deputy Governor and Chairman of the State Senate. Subsequently, he served from 1982 to 1985 even as the mayor of Carroll.
