Bettelainville
Bettelainville ( German Bettendorf ) is a commune with 628 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region.
Geography
The community Bettelainville lies on a ridge overlooking the valley of Canner, about 18 kilometers northeast of Metz.
History
The place belongs since 1661 to France and was then called Betstroff. It lies on the French side of the former German - French language border.
Since 1811, the two neighboring villages are incorporated Altroff ( Altdorf ) and Mancy ( unfit people ).
