Ford Escape Hybrid

The Ford Escape Hybrid is a service offered on the U.S. market from 2004 to 2012 version of the Ford Escape in the U.S. American manufacturer Ford Motor Company. He is the hybrid version of the SUV sold in Europe as the Ford Maverick.

General

The Ford Escape Hybrid was the first hybrid car produced in the U.S. and was later offered in sister models as Mercury Mariner and Mazda Tribute. In early 2012 the production was stopped after 122,850 vehicles. The sales figures achieved in 2007, with 20,961 vehicles a climax during 2011 or 11,183 Ford Escape Hybrid were sold. On the initiative of the City of New York City have been used since 2005, numerous Ford Escape Hybrid as a New York City Taxi Cabs.
