Frank Guinta

Frank C. Guinta ( born September 26, 1970 in Edison, New Jersey) is an American politician. From 2011 to 2013 he represented the State of New Hampshire in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Frank Guinta attended until 1989 the Canterbury School in New Milford (Connecticut). Then he studied until 1993 at Assumption College in Worcester (Massachusetts ). He then worked in the insurance industry and as an employee in the judiciary ( Law Clerk ). Politically, he was a member of the Republican Party. In 1999, he was responsible for the insurance department ( Insurance Department ) of the State of New Hampshire operates; between 2000 and 2002 he sat as an MP in the House of Representatives from New Hampshire. From 2002 to 2006, he was a town councilor in Manchester. There, he served again until 2010 as mayor. In 2003 and 2004 he was on the staff of Congressman Jeb Bradley.

In the congressional elections of 2010, Guinta was the first electoral district of New Hampshire in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he became the successor of him previously defeated Democrat Carol Shea -Porter on January 3, 2011. In the congressional elections in 2012 Guinta came back against Shea -Porter and lost time with 45:50 per cent of the vote. Therefore, it is excreted from the Congress on January 3, 2013. During his time as a congressman, he was a member of the Committee on Budgets, the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure and the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, and in six subcommittees. The liberal organization Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington leads Guinta in their reports as corrupt MPs for financial irregularities during his campaign, 2009.
