Hamersen

Hamersen is a municipality in the district of Rotenburg (Wümme ) in Lower Saxony. It is the second smallest village of the velvet municipality Sittingbourne.

Geographical Location

The municipality is situated approximately 3 km south of Sittingbourne, between Hamburg and Bremen.

The council has seven members: the mayor, he belong to two parties.

Coat of arms

Through a golden left diagonally inclined bar in red and green ears of corn divided shield; in the upper green field a silver Heideblüte and the lower red field a silver juniper shrub. The colors of the municipality Hamersen are green and red.
