Honda NSR125

The Honda NSR 125 R is a light motorcycles with 2- stroke engine, which was built up in 2003 by Honda. Successor of the NSR is the Honda CBR 125 with 4- stroke engine.

The NSR 125 R has a single-cylinder two - stroke engine with 125 cc displacement and an output of 11 kW. The open version features according to the manufacturer's instructions with 26 hp ( JC22 built after 1994 has the same motor as the JC20 model before 1994, however, different sets of cylinders were installed ). The models JC20 JC22 and can be driven with both the A1- slip ( throttled to 11kW or 15HP, aged 16 years ) and the A-license (not reduced ). From year 2000, a little " facelift " made. The labels on the handles and on the dashboard were replaced by small characters.

Racing variant

The much rarer racing variant " NSR 125 SP " (Sport Production) According to the manufacturer about 32 hp (Vmax according to Honda 168 km / h ) and carries the model name JD00. The higher performance was achieved here in the first place by a race exhaust system manufacturer Solfer. Other modifications such as a dual ignition PGM3 and the absence of the electric starter ( only Kickstarter ) contribute to the more sporty features. Furthermore, the SP models feature a fuel gauge ( for no reserve ) and another cylinder with oval outlet and a modified cylinder head with optimized combustion chamber and an improved suspension ( White Power shock absorber or strut Marzocci the predecessor ).
