List of UEFA Cup and Europa League top scorers

The list of scorers of the UEFA Europa League comprises all scorers of the initially played as the UEFA Cup and since the 2009/10 season as the UEFA Europa League since the 1971/72 season competition.

First scorer in the UEFA Cup in 1972 Ludwig Bruendl with 10 goals, the last UEFA Cup top scorer in 2009 was Vagner Love with 11 goals. Jürgen Klinsmann with 15 goals in the 1995/96 season, top scorer of the UEFA Cup.

Óscar Cardozo and Claudio Pizarro in 2010 were the first with 9 goals scorers in the Europa League newly created. Rekortorschützenkönige are common Radamel Falcao, Alan Shearer and Jupp Heynckes with two titles. Scorer last season with eight gates of the Czech Libor Kozák of Lazio, which already eliminated in the quarterfinals. Radamel Falcao is with his 17 goals from the 2010/11 season not only scorer of the UEFA Europa League in a season, but also the overall competition (30 goals). His 17 goals are also record the entire European Football Cup; including UEFA Champions League, European Cup winners and Inter-Cities Fairs Cup.

Alan Shearer ( 2004, 2005) and Radamel Falcao ( 2011, 2012 ) are so far the only player who could defend their title from last year.
