1975–76 UEFA Cup

The UEFA Cup 1975/76 was the 5th edition of the competition and was won by Liverpool with a final win against FC Bruges.

The most successful German team this season was the Hamburger SV, who had come to the semifinals, where, however, was denied by the Belgian side FC Bruges.

Mode

The participants played in the Cup mode with pure round-trip games the winner. In Torgleichstand initially chose the away goals rule, then there was an extension, re- entered the away goals rule after the in force and it should still be no winner, was a penalty shootout.
