Malling (Moselle)
Malling ( German Mallingen, Lorraine Malléngen ) is a commune with 582 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region. It belongs to the district of Thionville -Est and Canton Sierck- les- Bains.
Geography
Malling lies on the right bank of the Moselle, 14 kilometers northeast of Thionville at an altitude 145-211 m above sea level. The municipality covers 4.42 km ².
History
The place belongs since 1661 to France. The municipality Malling since 1811 the south to the village of Petite Hettange part (small Hettingen ).
