History

Olympiacos was founded on March 10, 1925. The members of the clubs " Piraeus sports and football club " and "Football Fan Club of Piraeus " spoke in 1925 on a historic meeting for the resolution of both clubs and the formation of a new club. The founding members Notis Kamperos and Michalis Manouskos were the namesake. Olympiakos Piraeus is ten times the Greek champion and nine-time Cup winner, once won the European Champions Cup, twice the Euro League, once the Intercontinental Cup once and managed the Triple.

The basketball department of Olympiakos Piraeus bears all home games at the Stadium of Peace and Friendship of (Greek Στάδιο Ειρήνης και Φιλίας, Stadio IRINIS kai filia, short SEF).

The modern arena holds 14,940 spectators in basketball events and is located in Neo Faliro, a suburb of Piraeus.
