The Diocese of Ajaccio (Latin: Dioecesis Adiacensis ) is a located in France Roman Catholic diocese based in Ajaccio, Corsica.

History

The Diocese of Ajaccio was built in the 3rd century and the Archdiocese of Genoa is a suffragan. On November 29, 1801 the diocese of Ajaccio were annexed parts of the territories of the bishoprics Accia and Mariana, Aleria, Nebbio and Sagone. The Diocese of Ajaccio in 1860 the archbishopric of Aix, is a suffragan. On 16 December 2002 the diocese of Ajaccio was the Archdiocese of Marseille is a suffragan.
