The diocese of Rodez (Latin: Dioecesis Ruthenensis ) is a located in France Roman Catholic diocese based in Rodez.

History

The diocese of Rodez was built in the 5th century and the Archdiocese of Bourges is a suffragan. On July 11, 1317 the Diocese of Rodez were parts of its territory from the foundation of the diocese Vabres. The diocese of Rodez was placed under the Archdiocese of Albi suffragan on October 3, 1678. On 29 November 1801, the diocese of Rodez was dissolved and the area became the dioceses Cahors and Saint -Flour affiliated. The diocese of Rodez was established on October 6, 1822 by Pope Pius VII, with the Apostolic Constitution Paternae charitatis again.
