T in the Park 2012
T in the Park 2012 was a three-day music festival that takes place in Balado, Kinross, Scotland on 6 July 2012 to 8 July 2012. The Stone Roses were announced as the first headliner on November 8, 2011 for Saturday, July 7, 2012. Snow Patrol and Kasabian were also later confirmed as headliners on Friday 6th July and Sunday, July 8. This year it was the first time they were on all three days of the festival the same number of visitors here, after the City Council had approved a proposal on Friday visitors to increase by 10,000. This approval brought with it that ultimately 85,000 visitors attended the festival.
Tickets
Similar to previous years, early bird tickets were available within a few days after the conclusion of the FestivalsT in the Park 2011. Tickets were on sale from 12 July 2011 until the following Sunday. The second tranche of tickets were 2 December 2011 from 9 clock available and were sold out within hours. The final ticket sales began on February 29, 2012 from 9 Uhr.Allerletzte tickets finally sold during the last days before the festival.
Program and Contributors
After The Stone Roses were announced as the first headliner on November 8, 2011, 9 participants was 21 February 2012, a week before the start of the final sale tickets announced on the official T in the Park Twitter account. These were Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Florence the Machine, The Maccabees, The Horrors, Miles Kane, The Vaccines, Maverick Sabre, Frank Turner and Two Door Cinema Club. In a further announcement on 23 February, the two remaining headliners Snow Patrol and Kasabian were presented. Other Acts was at the same time known: Jessie J, David Guetta, Kaiser Chiefs, The Darkness, Calvin Harris, Skrillex and Elbow. Swedish House Mafia came to the program to do so, that it was her last appearance in Scotland before they parted. As usual with T in the Park, were still more Occurring known, the nearer the festival. On 23 April, the Line -UP Poster was updated to some new additions such as Hilltop Hoods and fun were known. However, Mastodon was not able to see more program, leading to speculation about the cancellation of her performance, which was confirmed a day later. On April 27 came Keane, on May 1, Sub Focus it. Until 1 May 2012, a total 110 acts were announced, as opposed to the 171 from T in the Park 2011 lineup.
