Unterperfuss
Unterperfuss is a municipality with 192 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in the district of Innsbruck Land in Tirol ( Austria ). The municipality is located in the judicial district Telfs.

Geography
Unterperfuss is located in the Inn Valley, about 15 km west of Innsbruck, opposite Zirl. In terms of area and number of inhabitants it is one of the smallest municipalities of Tyrol. The municipal boundaries are formed in the north by the Inn and the east by the opening out here from Sellraintal Melach.

History
First mentioned in 1312 in the Inn Valley tax book as " Niederpervens ". As " Unterperfuss " for the first time in 1453 in a document kept in the Tyrolean Provincial Archives. 1832 as an independent local church.

The last mayor elections took place simultaneously with the local elections on March 14, 2010.
Martin Norz was elected mayor and Georg Hörtnagl Vice Mayor. It was a run-off election necessary.

Culture and sights
Baroque branch church to St. Catherine, built in 1761 by Franz Singer. Design Johann Michael Umhauser attributed. Beautiful frescoes by Anton Kirchebner. Rococo furnishings.

The community has many facilities for horse riding.

2001 Unterperfuss had to have a positive commuter balance.
