Adaincourt

Adaincourt a commune with 117 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region, about 25 kilometers southeast of Metz is located.

Geography

The community Adaincourt lies about 23 kilometers south-east of Metz, on the edge of Niedtales.

History

The village was first mentioned in 1316 as Daincort and in 1552 annexed by France, which was recognized in the 1648 Peace of Westphalia. 1871-1918 it belonged again to the German Empire, but French remained the official and vernacular.

1915-18 ( and during the Nazi occupation 1940-44 ) it was invented by the German authorities Adinghofen name.
