Adelange

Adelange ( German noble Ingen ) is a commune with 219 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region, about 36 km south-east of Metz.

Geography

Adelange is located at 250 meters above sea level, about 13 kilometers southwest of Saint- Avold. The municipality covers 5.81 km ². The place is surrounded by agricultural land and little forest. The highest elevation of the site reaches a height of 317 m.

Neighboring communities of Adelange are Vahl -les- Faulquemont in the northeast, Boustroff the southeast, Eincheville in the south and Faulquemont the west and north.

History

The village belongs since 1766 to France.

Economy and infrastructure

The community is predominantly agricultural. In the south of the municipality was an old Roman road. Today, the site is accessible by two streets. The D20 of Baronville after Faulquemont runs about one kilometer west of the town.
