Holling (Moselle)
Holling ( Lorraine Holléngen ) is a commune with 457 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region. It belongs administratively to the district Boulay -Moselle and the eponymous canton Boulay- Moselle.
Geography
Holling is located close to the German border, about 12 kilometers west of the Saarland About Lord.
History
The place was first mentioned in 1196 as Hulingen. Then Holdingen (15th cent.), Hollingen (1594 ) and Holingen ( 1681).
