Piblange

Piblange ( German Pieblingen ) is a commune with 1022 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region.

To Piblange include the districts Bockange, Drogny, Saint -Bernard and Streiffel.

Location

The community is located ten kilometers south-west of Bouzonville.

History

Piblange was first mentioned in 1137 as Pibilinga. Other names were Publanges ( 1221 ), Piveling ( 1330) and Pieblengen (1689 ).
