Han-sur-Nied
Han -sur -Nied ( German Han on the Nied ) is a municipality with 248 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region.
Geography
The municipality of Han -sur -Nied is located on the French Nied, about 26 kilometers east of Metz. In the community intersect fie highways Metz- Morhange and Pont -à -Mousson -Saint -Avold.
History
The town was first mentioned in 1239 when Hans was in 1552 and occupied by France and annexed what was recognized in the 1648 Peace of Westphalia.
1871-1918 he was temporarily again to the German Empire, but French remained the official and vernacular.
