Obervisse

Obervisse ( German Oberwiese ) is a commune with 158 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region.

Location

The community is located 15 kilometers west of the border town of Freyming -Merlebach.

History

Even in Gallo-Roman times, there were settlements. The village was first mentioned in 1391 as Haud - Veize.
