Holacourt
Holacourt is a commune with 69 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region.
Geography
The municipality is situated on the Holacourt Nied inflow rotting, about 32 kilometers east of Metz.
History
1346 the village was mentioned under the name Olechingen. In 1552 it was occupied by France and annexed what was recognized in the 1648 Peace of Westphalia.
Holacourt 1871-1918 belonged to the German Empire, but French remained the official and vernacular.
1915-18 ( and again during the Nazi occupation 1940-44 ), the village was invented by the German authorities Ollhofen name.
From 1 December 1973 to August 3, 1985 Holacourt was incorporated into the neighboring Brulange.
