Bambiderstroff

Bambiderstroff ( German tree village worthies, Lorraine Bambidaschtroff ) is a commune with 1036 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region.

Geography

The municipality is located six kilometers west of Bambiderstroff Saint- Avold on the southwestern edge of the Warndt.

History

The town was first mentioned in 1121 as Brudeville, he was in the Thirty Years' War badly damaged and depopulated and only gradually rebuilt and repopulated.

Bambiderstroff belonged to the Austrian exclave Rollingen and was transferred on 16 May 1769 by Austria to France.

1871-1918 it was again temporarily to the German Reich.
