2011–12 EHF Women's Champions League

At the EHF Champions League 2011/12 participated in a total of 32 handball club teams, who had in the previous season in their home countries qualified for the competition. It was the 52nd staging of the EHF Champions League and the European Cup of Champions. The Cup Finals began on September 2, 2011, return Final Round took place on 13 May 2012. Defending champion was the Norwegian club Larvik HK. With zrk Budućnost Podgorica won for the first time a club from Montenegro the title.

Mode

Qualification 1 The Qualification 1 was held in the framework of several tournaments. Two groups of four teams, with each team playing in a group once against any other team. In the groups, the first and second placed teams qualified for the second qualifying both oriented outgoing teams moved into the second round of the European Cup Winners' Cup a.

Qualification 2 The Qualification 2 was discharged Four tournaments in multiple Final. Four groups of four teams. For each group the best team qualified for the group stage. The precipitated twelve teams moved to the 2nd or 3rd round of a European Cup Winners' Cup.
