2011 Austrian Open Kitzbühel

The bet-at -home Cup Kitzbühel 2011 was a tennis tournament, held each July 31 to August 7, 2011 in Kitzbuehel. It was part of the ATP World Tour in 2011 and was discharged on clay court. The tournament in 2010 was only part of the ATP Challenger Tour, heard but now back to Category ATP World Tour 250 In the same week was in Washington, DC the Legg Mason Tennis Classic played, but which is part of the ATP World Tour 500.

Defender of the individual, Andreas Seppi, but he left already in the quarter- finals. In the final, the Dutchman Robin Haase defeated Spaniard Albert Montanes - this was Haase's first ATP final, and thus also his first title on the ATP level. In doubles, Dustin Brown and Rogier Wassen were the defending champions, but they came in this year with other partners and failed in the first round and in the quarter-finals. In the final Daniele Bracciali and Santiago González defeated the Brazilians Franco Ferreiro and Andre Sá. The victory in Kitzbühel is the first joint title for Bracciali it is the second season and fourth career title, González for the second season and third career title.

The field of individual petition consisted of 28 players, double that of the petition of 16 pairs. The four top-seeded player in singles each got a bye into the second round.
