Bantzenheim
Bantzenheim (German Banzenheim ) is a municipality with 1640 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the canton Illzach in the department of Haut-Rhin in Alsace region of France. She is a member of the Communauté de communes de France Rhin Porte Sud ( CCPFRS ).
Geography
The scattered village is situated in the Upper Rhine Valley on the Rhine side channel to the parallel to the Rhine extending secondary road D 468 12 km northeast of Mulhouse. The Rhine is only two kilometers away and in the neighboring municipality Chalampé there is both a road as well as railway crossing in the right bank of Neuchâtel in Germany. In the west of the municipality extends to the northern part of the Harth Forest, the Rhine facing terrain is highly industrialized. The municipality has a station on the railway line garbage home -Mulhouse, this is served since December 2012 again regularly in passenger transport.
