Village-Neuf

Village -Neuf ( German Neudorf, alsatian Neidorf ) is a commune with 3765 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011), in the Alsace Haut -Rhin. It belongs to the district Mulhouse, on the Canton Huningue and community association Trois Frontières.

Geography

The community of Village-Neuf is located to the right of Huningue Canal and left of the Rhine around 9 km north of the Swiss city of Basel. It is bordered to the north by Rosenau, on the east by the Rhine, to the south and to the west by Hüningen Saint- Louis ( district Neuweg ).

History
