Hombourg

Hombourg (German Homburg, alsatian Humburg ) is a municipality with 1147 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Haut-Rhin in Alsace region of France. She is a member of the Communauté de communes communities Porte Sud de France Rhin ( CCPFRS ), which lies on the southern Upper Rhine.

In domaniale Forêt de la Hardt Sud coming from the south, Rhine - Rhone canal changes its course to the west. One attraction is the Château de Hombourg the woods edge. On the Rhine side channel is an industrial zone. Hombourg bordered to the east by Neuenburg am Rhein in Germany. The northern neighboring community is Ottmar Home, located south Petit- Landau, the western neighboring municipalities are Habs home and Rixheim.

The community calls itself " La Capitale du Golf " - on its premises there is an 18 -hole course, since 2008 a second. They belong to the three- spa golf resort located in Bad Bellingen, where two 18 -hole courses are located.
