The BMW Sauber F1.09 was the fourth and last Formula 1 racing car of BMW Sauber F1. The constructed by Willy Rampf cars participated in all 17 races of the Formula 1 season 2009, was controlled by Poland Robert Kubica and the German Nick Heidfeld and drove two second places out ( Heidfeld at the Malaysian Grand Prix and the Grand Prix of Kubica Brazil ) - reducing the team in his final season, the constructors' championship with 36 points finished on the sixth of ten ranks. The V8 engine P86 / 9 came from BMW and five races in the Kinetic Energy Recovery System was - which was otherwise used only in the Ferrari F60, McLaren MP4 - 24 and the Renault R29 - used.
