Danne-et-Quatre-Vents
Danne- et- Quatre -Vents ( German Then and Four Winds ) is a commune with 596 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region. It belongs to the district Sarrebourg and Canton Phalsbourg.
Geography
The community Danne- et- Quatre -Vents is the western passort at Saverne ( Saverne ) on the border of Alsace. It lies between Phalsbourg and Saverne. Through the municipal area of Danne- et- Quatre -Vents cause major transport lines, the Autoroute A4 and the N4 road. The planned tunnel de Saverne the LGV Est high-speed line européenne (Paris- Strasbourg) is located on the territory of the municipality.
To the municipality in addition to the parts Danne and Quatre -Vent also includes the hamlet of La Bonne Fontaine ( Gutenbrunnen ).
History
The place belongs since 1661 to France and consists of the two districts
- Danne ( first mentioned in 1128 as Dhann ) and
- Quatre -Vents (founded in the late 17th century ), which were merged during the French Revolution.
