Landange

Landange ( German country Ingen ) is a commune of 239 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region. It belongs to the district Sarrebourg and Canton Lorquin.

Geography

Landange is located about ten kilometers southwest of Sarrebourg at an altitude 269-343 m above sea level. North of 4.85 km ² of the municipal area runs the Rhine- Marne Canal.

History

The place was first mentioned in 1050 as Landeldingen, then country Anges ( 1285).

The village belongs since 1661 to France.
