Schneckenbusch
Schneckenbusch is a commune with 301 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region. It belongs to the district Sarrebourg and Canton Sarrebourg.
Geography
Schneckenbusch located in the southeast of the département Moselle, about four kilometers southeast of Sarrebourg at an altitude 259-324 m above sea level, the average height is 280 m. The municipality covers 2.12 km ².
The municipality also includes the hamlet of south Ritterwald.
History
The village was German until 1661, then came to France, in 1871 and again in 1919 German French again. In the period from 1940 to 1944 it was under the German administration again and then again the French.
