Romelfing
Romelfing ( German drum Began ) is a commune with 367 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region. It belongs to the district Sarrebourg and Canton Fénétrange.
Geography
Romelfing is about eleven kilometers north of Sarrebourg on the Saar River at an altitude 227-307 m above sea level, the average height is 254 m. The municipality covers 10.69 km ².
History
The village came to France in 1766, from 1871 to 1918 to the German Empire since 1919 and back to France.
