Dieffenthal

Dieffenthal is a commune with 249 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) on the eastern edge of the Vosges in the department of Bas- Rhin in the Alsace region. The community is a member of the Association of Municipalities Communauté de communes de Sélestat.

An important source of income is agriculture and especially the wine, which is also expressed in the representation of the coat of arms. The place is also on the Alsace wine route, between Dambach- la -Ville in the north and in the south shear Willer.

The Territory road D 38 leads east past the village. There are about eight kilometers from the seat of sub-prefecture in southeastern Schlettstadt.
