Emile Albrecht

Émile Albrecht ( * 1897, † unknown) was a Swiss rower who won two Olympic medals in 1924.

At the Olympic Games 1920, the Swiss boat had won with Willy Brüderlin, Max Rudolf, Paul Rudolph and Hans Walter and helmsman Paul dust the Olympic gold medal after the boat had previously become European champions. At the European Championships 1921 in Amsterdam Émile Albrecht sat for Hans Walter in the boat and won with Brüderlin and the brothers Rudolf the title, the name of the helmsman is not known. At the European Championships 1923 in Como Émile Albrecht, Richard Frey, Alfred Probst, Eugen Sigg and Hans Steiger won the coxed four.

At the Olympic Games in 1924 on the Seine at Argenteuil Émile Albrecht, Alfred Probst, Eugen Sigg and Hans Walter won the bronze medal in coxless four. In the four with coxswain steered Fritz Loosli the four rowers into the final, for Loosli then sat Émile Lachapelle in the boat that won the gold medal.

Albrecht started for the Rowing Club Lausanne.
