Ernst Streng

Ernst Stern ( born January 25, 1942 in Cologne, † March 27, 1993 ) was a German racing cyclist.

Ernst Strictly won his greatest successes in the team pursuit. In 1963, he was with the German team vice champion of the amateurs in this discipline in Rocourt in Liege, together with Clement Großimlinghaus, Karl -Heinz Henrichs and Lothar Claesges. The following year, the German team was ( with Karl link instead of Großimlinghaus ) world champion of amateurs in Paris and Olympic champion in Tokyo and was therefore called Gold - four.

1965 Strictly stepped over to the professionals and finished at German Championships multiple podium finishes in the sprint as well as in the posts.
