Ferenbalm

Ferenbalm ( French La Baumette ) is a municipality in the Bern-Mittelland administrative district in the canton of Bern in Switzerland.

Geography

Ferenbalm is located on the plateau between the rivers Sarine and Biberen. A real village does not exist, the community Ferenbalm comprises the hamlets Ferenbalm, bird book, Kleingümmenen, Rizenbach, Biberen, Jerisberg, Jerisberghof, Haselhof and the exclave Gammen.

Policy

The voter shares of the parties at the national elections of 2011 were: SVP 41.9 %, BDP 16.5 %, SP 12.4 %, GPS 8.0 %, FDP 6.7 %, glp 3.6 %, EDU 3.3 %, EPP 2.2 %, CVP 1.3 %, SD 1.2 %.
