Kaufdorf is a municipality in the Bern-Mittelland administrative district in the canton of Bern, located in Guerbetal exactly in the middle between Bern and Thun.

History

The church is first mentioned in 1148 ( Cuffedorf ). During the Reformation, the village gained because of its originating from Good Brünnen water celebrity, the curative effect was said. According to legend, the water had to be taken on Good Friday morning before sunrise. These water pilgrimages were banned after the Reformation.
