The Ford Anglia was a small car that was produced from 1940 to 1967 by Ford / England. One after the other, there were the following model generations:
The three-door station wagon of the Anglia 100E was called Ford Escort, had but with the well-known successor of Anglia from 1968, the Ford Escort nothing in common except the name.
The Anglia 105E had a striking body design with an overhanging rear window. He also got a completely new OHV engine. The " Kent " engine generation was further used in the Ford Fiesta and 2001. The Anglia became known to a wider audience through the book Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, in which a bewitched and flying Anglia 105E makes its appearance. In the British edition of the book Children of the Anglia 105E is also depicted on the book cover.
