Johnny Cecotto jr.

Johnny Cecotto Amadeus, known as Johnny Cecotto Jr. ( born September 9, 1989 in Augsburg, Germany ) is a Venezuelan- German racing driver. He possesses both the Venezuelan, as well as the German citizenship, but starts with Venezuelan license. He is the former Formula 1 driver and motorcycle world champion Johnny Cecotto son. Since 2009 he start in the GP2 series.

Career

Cecotto his motorsport career started in karting. In contrast to his father Cecotto Jr. moved directly into formula racing and gave his debut in the 2005 German Formula BMW.
