Perry County (Pennsylvania)

Perry County is a county located in the state of Pennsylvania in the United States. In the 2000 census, the county had 43 602 inhabitants and a population density of 30 inhabitants per square kilometer. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is New Bloomfield.

History

Perry County was formed on March 22, 1820 Cumberland County, and after Oliver Hazard Perry, the brother of Matthew Perry, named.

Geography
